Air conditioning service engineer • Juneau City and Borough, Alaska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. The job is in shopping malls and office buildings. You will check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving. Ideal candidate: • Presentable and polite with customers on site • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
