Requirements: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S Your main tasks: • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station 3+ years on the tools preferred.
