Cement mason • Essex County, New Jersey

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Essex County, New Jersey. The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
