Day to day you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
