Mobile furniture fitter — Oakland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile furniture fitter in Oakland County, Michigan. Day to day you will read flat-pack assembly manuals and lay out all parts and hardware before starting; fit drawer runners and soft-close slides and check they glide smoothly; hang cabinet and wardrobe doors and adjust hinges for even, square gaps; level units and wardrobes with a spirit level and adjustable feet or shims; anchor tall furniture to the wall with anti-tip straps and brackets. Requirements: • Sharp eye for detail so doors, drawers and panels line up • Reliable timekeeping and able to complete jobs within the quoted time A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
