Garment machinist wanted in Adams County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Adams County, Washington. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Part-time with flexible hours.
