Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Boone County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead 6+ years on the tools preferred.
