Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Logan County, Kansas. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
