Join our team: we are hiring a power press operator in City of Leicester, England. You will work at an auto components factory. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
