Brick mason wanted in East Sussex

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in East Sussex, England. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays We offer £14 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
