Sample machinist — White Pine County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in White Pine County, Nevada. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
