Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Full-time, day shift.
