Crane rigger wanted in City of Galax

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in City of Galax, Virginia. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
