Aluminium TIG welder — Carroll County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Carroll County, Kentucky. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
