Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Cass County, Iowa. The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
