Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
