Immediate opening: machinist (Nasarawa State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Nasarawa, Nasarawa State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦100,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
