Immediate opening: lift technician (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring 3+ years on the tools preferred. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
