Immediate opening: occupational health and safety officer (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Schuyler County, Missouri. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Pay around $120 per day, based on your experience.
