Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Bonneville County, Idaho. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush.
