Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Onondaga County, New York. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. You will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
