Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Franklin County, Indiana. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
