Foundry worker wanted in City of Charlottesville

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry worker in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
