Join our team: we are hiring a commis chef in Palo Alto County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat The role involves: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
