Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Antrim and Newtownabbey

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. The job is at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators £95 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
