Join our team: tracked excavator operator (Idaho)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Boise County, Idaho. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
