Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in City of Radford, Virginia. On a typical shift you will grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; replace cracked or broken window panes; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
