Marble mason — City of Charlottesville

Join our team: we are hiring a marble mason in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
