Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects You will apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape.
