Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble worker in Christian County, Kentucky. The job is in a stone processing yard. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding On a typical shift you will restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; work from cutting lists and installation drawings. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
