Urgent requirement: counter butcher (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher The role involves keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
