Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
