Crane operator — Jackson Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Part-time with flexible hours.
