Gypsum plasterer • Calhoun County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Calhoun County, West Virginia. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Rotating shifts. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
