Scaffolding charge hand — Herkimer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Herkimer County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope You should have: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
