Glass fitter — City of Edinburgh

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass fitter in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. Requirements: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand On a typical shift you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames. We offer £2,150 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
