Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Carter County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
