Bricklayer — Cook County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cook County, Minnesota. The job is on a new-build development. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
