Tailor machinist — Alleghany County

Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Alleghany County, North Carolina. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Six days a week, one day off.
