Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Campbell County, Kentucky. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot On the job you will handle: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
