Immediate opening: carpenter (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
