Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Porter County, Indiana. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
