Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Kimball County, Nebraska. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 1+ years on the tools preferred.
