Now hiring: concrete shuttering carpenter (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in San Jacinto County, Texas. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Your main tasks: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
