Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage The role involves: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
