CO2 welder wanted in City of Covington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in City of Covington, Virginia. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
