Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade The role involves inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings.
