Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Day to day you will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces.
