Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Turner County, Georgia. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
