Finishing presser wanted in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
